30 DAY/1000 MILE CHANGE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Subject to the following terms a Škoda Retailer Approved Used Vehicle purchased from a Škoda Approved Used Retailer may be exchanged for another vehicle at the same Retailer provided that:

    a. The Škoda Retailer Approved Used Vehicle is returned to that Škoda Approved Used Retailer within 30 days of the original delivery date.

    b. The Customer must be a private purchaser and not a trade purchaser or otherwise.

    c. The Škoda Approved Used Car has not covered more than 1000 miles since original delivery to the Customer.

    d. The Škoda Approved Used Retailer at their own discretion is satisfied that the vehicle is in the same condition as at the time of original delivery to the Customer.

    e. The Škoda Approved Used Retailer is satisfied that the Customer owns the Škoda Approved Used Vehicle and is entitled to exchange it under this Agreement.

  2. The Customer may choose any vehicle as the replacement vehicle provided that:

    a. It is of equal price to the original Škoda Retailer Approved Used Vehicle.

    b. It is readily available from the Škoda Approved Used Vehicle Retailer stock.

  3. Before any exchange is effected under this agreement the Škoda Approved Used Vehicle Retailer will use reasonable endeavours to assist the Customer in terminating or transferring financing arrangements relating to the purchase of the exchanged Škoda Retailer Approved Used Vehicle. The Skoda Approved Used Retailer will bear the Customer’s reasonable costs of transferring finance arrangements up to a maximum of Ł150. The Customer will also be entitled to compensation for the difference between the amount paid for road fund licence and the amount refunded up to a maximum of two months reimbursement.

  4. Where the Customer wishes to exchange a Škoda Retailer Approved used Vehicle for a replacement vehicle with a higher price the Customer must pay to the Retailer the difference in price.

  5. The Customer will be responsible for any additional costs incurred relating to the licensing and insurance of any replacement vehicle.

  6. The Replacement vehicle may be replaced within 30 days of the delivery date of the replacement vehicle provided that:

    a. The Customer has reasonable cause to be dissatisfied with the quality or reliability of the replacement vehicle.

    b. The Škoda Approved Used Vehicle Retailer has been given fair and reasonable opportunity to rectify any faults or defects which affect the quality or reliability of the Replacement Vehicle, and has failed to rectify those faults to a reasonable standard.

    c. If a further vehicle is required to be replaced under this scheme, the terms and conditions as set out above will apply to the subsequent exchange.

  7. This does not affect the Customer’s statutory rights.
