Professional Driving Tuition
The Centre has a team of qualified instructors and a selection of tuition vehicles for you to learn on. All basic training is conducted on our private roads including training for the reverse parallel parking, turning in the road and reversing into a limited opening.
You will then continue your training on the public roads up to the day of your driving test.
Lessons can be arranged to suit the individual pupil, you may pay as you learn or you can have block booking. The number of lessons required to reach test standard will depend on the pupils progress.
Under 17 year old pupils
The under aged potential driver has the opportunity to learn to drive at an early age. No provisional licence is required but there is an minimum height requirement of 146cm so that the pupil is able to see over the steering wheel and reach the controls.
Courses can be arranged through local schools, colleges and youth groups or you can have private lesson on a one to one basis.
Written test preparation
The centre has a classroom on site to assist pupils prepare for the DSA theory test. Pupils are able to practice on mock test papers and a member of staff is on hand to give help as required.
Pass Plus Scheme
This scheme was set up by the DSA for the newly qualified driver and is available at the Cardrome. When the course of around six hours is completed, the candidate will qualify for special reduced insurance rates.

Advanced driving
If you want to know how good or how bad your driving might be, why not have an assessment drive of two hours in your own car.
You will be accompanied by one of our instructors who will observe your driving performance and at the end of the drive you will then be given a written report.
The optional challenge if you so desire would be to attempt the advance driving test with the IAM or RoSPA.
