SELLERS
1. Charges
Entry Fee £30.00 + VAT per sale. Commission = 10% of sale price + VAT. Minimum commission £35.00 + VAT. An Admin fee of £5.00 plus vat is payable on each vehicle sold.

2. Any unsold vehicles not collected from our premises the day before the next auction will be re-entered and charged an entry fee of £30.00 + VAT on each occasion.

3. Payments
All payments will be by cheque (account payee only) and sent by 1st class post 7-10 days from date of sale. Cheque collections from the sale office are on arrangement ONLY.

4. Any vehicles over 8 years old will be sold without reserve price, unless a previous agreement has been entered into.

5. You must declare the total history of the vehicle, including insurance total loss, stolen and recovered. FAILURE TO DO SO will render seller liable for FULL SALES COMMISSION + VAT.

6. It is your responsibility to phone the Auction to check if your vehicle is sold. If an unsold vehicle is left on the premises it will automatically be entered into the next sale with a fee of £30.00 + VAT.

7. You must hand in the service books, stereos or stereo faces, tax discs and keys to the Entry office. (DO NOT LEAVE IN CAR)

BUYERS

1. Your Rights when buying at Auction
Your legal rights when buying a vehicle at an auction are different from those when you buy from a dealer. It is, therefore, important that you read the auction company’s CONDITIONS OF SALE before you bid.

2. You need a minimum £300 cash deposit to be left at rostrum immediately after bidding.

3. An indemnity fee is payable on every purchase. Plus an admin fee of £5.00 Inc of vat.

4. Payment can be made by cash, or chip and pin card. You must know your 4-digit pin number. A charge of £10 per £1000 is payable for using cards.

5. All vehicles must be paid for in full by 5.00pm the next full working day and removed from the premises. Vehicles are left at owner’s risk.

6. All vehicles purchased at auction are, SOLD AS SEEN without warranty. Please inspect vehicles before bidding as no negotiations will be entered into whatsoever regardless of windscreen descriptions.

7. Once your bid has been accepted the vehicle is your responsibility.

8. CAR POUND vehicles may later appear on the V Car Register.

9. Check details on the V5 match the vehicle correctly before leaving the premises
