In 2009 Duncan Taylor celebrates 16 years of selling cars and vans in Newbury. An awful lot has changed in Newbury as far as garages are concerned, we pride ourselves on the human touch, we’ll sit you down, make you a cup of Tea and go through all that is necessary to make sure you are happy with the deal. There are no high-pressure salesmen here. Good quality, well priced cars, presented in a professional manner full prepared ready for sale. A good old-fashioned service that is disappearing in the modern car sales world.
In 2006 business was booming for us so we decided to expand and took over the former Saab garage in Newbury. There has been a garage on this site since the 1950’s so it’s a purpose built site with a luxury indoor showroom We had simply outgrew our former premises plus with the opportunity to expand to such a well known garage the temptation was too great. We now comfortably stock over 35 cars and we now have the space for light commercial vehicles. We still sell the cheaper end of the scale cars as well as the £15,000 price, however we buy all our cars from Garages as unwanted part exchanges due to being to old or having covered too many miles for a main dealer.
We also have specialist Traders we buy from thus sustaining our stock levels. With the power of the Internet we can also
source cars from all over the Country, we have also sold in the last 12 months cars to Cyprus, Ireland, Scotland and Spain.
In 2008 we have upgraded our car delivery transporter for a new Renault Master. For £1 per mile plus Vat we can deliver your car to your door if so required.
We are also car enthusiasts currently we have our Ford Cortina 2.0 GXL being restored, with just 1 former keeper, we have a 1967 Pontiac Firebird, plus in the showroom we have the world famous 1957 Chevy “Roarin’ Rat”
