PROTONProton

The development of the Proton brand in the UK since 1989 has seen them create a loyal and dedicated customer base. Following their early involvement in 1997 and subsequent acquisition in 2003 of Group Lotus Plc, they are in a better position than ever to deliver their vision via state of the art Research & Development plus new production facilities. The UK line up comprises four models, which without doubt represent some of the best value for money cars on the market to-day, all backed up with a very comprehensive aftercare package. PERODUAPerodua

Perodua UK established itself in 1997 with the ultra economical Nippa and followed this up with the Kenari mini MPV in 2000 and shortly after the Kelisa, nominated Britians’ cheapest car to own and run (CAP Survey). Within the budget car market, Perodua have steadily grown their market share year on year, and the launch of the Myvi in 2006 has seen a really marked upturn in performance, with interest in the brand really growing. PIAGGIOPiaggio

The 1993 joint venture between Piaggio and Daihatsu saw the microvan range marketed in the UK as Daihatsu Hijet, a venture that was extremely successful, with the range taking a very large slice of the microvan market. 2001 saw the whole range rebranded to Piaggio Porter, as it was across the remainder of Europe, still using Daihatsu power trains. Versatility still remains a strong point, with a wide range of specialist conversions available to compliment the standard Panel Van, Pick Up and MPV. Click on the link for full details.
